Thanks to the efforts of a great many people, Kaichi International University hosted its 9^th Annual English Speech Contest on October 28^th, 2023 in Komorebi Hall. The theme for this year’s contest was “The Role of AI in Modern Society.” 10 contestants spoke on the theme for 5 to 7 minutes in front of peers, judges, and audience members. Despite the pressure, every contestant rose to the challenge to speak as sincerely and competently as they could on the theme, inspiring all in attendance. As public speaking is no small matter for students, our heartfelt congratulations are extended to all the contestants who participated in this year’s contest. Most notably, Chan Myae Khin (Myanmar), Meng Xin (China), and May Phuu Thwe (Myanmar) who finished 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd respectively.
